My Own "My Girl" lyrics:

I've got sunshine

On a cloudy day.

When it's cold outside,
I've got the month of May.

Well, I guess you'll say
What can make me feel this way?

My girl. (My girl, my girl)
Talkin' 'bout my girl. (My girl)

I've got so much honey
The bees envy me.

I've got a sweeter songThan the birds in the trees.
Well, I guess you'll say

What can make me feel this way?
My girl. (My girl, my girl)

Talkin' 'bout my girl. (My girl)
Ooooh, Hoooo.

Hey, hey, hey.
Hey, hey, hey.

I don't need no money,
Fortune or fame.

I've got all the riches, baby,
One mom can claim.

Well, I guess you'll say
What can make me feel this way?

My girl. (My girl, my girl)

Talkin' 'bout my girl. (My girl)
Talkin' bout my girl.

I've got sushine on cloudy day
With my girl.

I've even got the month of May
With my girl.

My girl. (My girl, my girl)

Talkin' 'bout my girl. (My girl)
Talkin' bout my girl.

Hey, Good Lookin - (my own re-mix)

Hey, Brooklyn Brooklyn, whatcha got cookin'

How's about cookin' somethin' up with me ...

Hey, sweet baby, don't you think maybe

We could find us a brand new reci- pe. ...

I got a hot rod Ford and a two dollar bill

And I know a spot right over the hill

There's soda pop and the dancin's free

So if you wanna have fun come a- long with me.

Say Hey, Good Lookin', whatcha got cookin'

How's about cookin' somethin' up with me.

I'm free and ready so we can go steady

How's about savin' all your time for me

No more lookin', I know I've been (*tooken)

How's about keepin' steady company.

I'm gonna throw my date book over the fence

And find me one for five or ten cents.

I'll keep it 'til it's covered with age

'Cause I'm writin' your name down on ev'ry page.

Say Hey, Good Lookin', whatcha got cookin'

How's about cookin' somethin' up with me

Brooklyn's 'Welcome' Shower

"No bottles to suck or diapers to tinkle.
So instead of a shower, why not a sprinkle?
Around 4 o'clock on the 8th of November.
Come meet our new baby a day you'll remember.
If there is a gift that you wish to bring.
Thank you so much but remember one thing.
Big brother Matthew has plenty to share.
A card would be perfect to show that you care.
Most things we do have but a few things we missed.
If you'd like to bring something- Please browse our short list."

Poopy Soup!

Matthew woke up about 45 mins ago with a BIG surprise for me and daddy. Poopy soup :o( it was all over his crib. So he had an emergency bath and a 911 sheet changing service within 10 mins flat. As soon as he saw his bobba, he was out like a lamp (thank goodness!)

Oh, the joys of motherhood- For a moment there I wished I had grabbed my camera so I can treasure the icky moment forever but then again I thought, "why the heck would ANYONE want to see a picture of that!?!?

This weekend

Was fun. Matthew's schedule is a little off still- but he was so much more fun this weekend than any other weekend that I can remember. He's copying me when I speak, like saying "HI DAD" and back & forth growling. "GRRRRR". Aunt Colissa and Aunt Becca visited on Saturday and that was fun. They haven't seen him in so long, they were both impressed with how much he has grown. Matthew has surely formed his own personality since they last saw him around Christmas time. We went to lunch at Red Lobster (we split a large plate) and Matthew entertained all of us by throwing everything on the ground. Maybe we'll try McDonald's next time. :o)

Gotta go to work but as for info for his sitter, she's doing great- Matthew (we can tell) has so much fun and she has the neatest pictures of him posted on her site. I already showed the other ladies here at work. Thank you Caron!
