ARE YOU A BIG BOY?


(Interview with my little man)

So mom, I’ve been thinking, I’m ready to advance.

I’m tired of diapers and ready for underpants.

What happened to my baby? Are you sure you want this?

Being a baby was fun, but There’s not much I’ll miss.

Well there are a few things that only big boys can to do-

So here are some questions I’m going to ask you…

No problem Miss Mom, I’ll show you- I’m cool!

And in just a few years, I will even start school! !

If you pass this small test, then a big boy you’ll be

I am a big boy mom, just watch me, you’ll see!

  1. Are you a big boy?

Yes I am mom, I am! I can sing ABC’s and count 5 on each hand!

  1. Can you tie your own shoes?

Yes I can mom, I try!

I try my darn best ‘cause I am a smart guy!

  1. Are you a big boy, do you clean up your toys?

Yes I do mom like all of the other girls and boys.

  1. Do you eat all your food?

Yes I do mom, All done!

I clean off my plate so I can go have some fun!

  1. Are you a big boy, are you quiet most days?

I am quiet, obedient and loving I say!

  1. Are you a big boy, do you help mom and dad?

I help Daddy and Mommy which makes them real glad!

  1. Do you brush your own teeth?

Yes I do mom I brush. Then I go to the potty, wash my hands then I flush!

  1. Are you a big boy? Do you listen real well?

I always listen mommy~ gee, couldn’t you tell?

  1. Are you a big boy, do you play nice with friends?

I play nice with my sister, my friends and cousins!

  1. Are you a big boy, can you get dressed real fast?

First my pants, then my shirt and my socks and shoes last.

  1. Are you a big boy, do you still pick your nose?

Only when there’s a tissue, otherwise that’s just gross!

  1. Are you a big boy, do you think you’ll run fast?

Oh yes, didn’t you see me- that was me who just passed!

  1. Are you tall like daddy?

Yes I am mom real soon!

I’ll be so tall like daddy , real tall like the moon!

  1. Are you a big boy can you go fast asleep?

I go to bed on my own and I don’t make a peep!

  1. Do you use the potty to pee and to poo?

Yes I always use the potty, at least I always try to.

So you are a big boy~ you do ALL that yourself?

Well sometimes I need reminding and also a little help.

Leslie is Unique


Leslie is unique,

‘cause she can finally say…

That’s she’s a “college graduate”

So it’s time to celebrate!

Learned at Anthem College,

Studied all she needs to learn.

Finished doing all her homework,

Now the “big bucks” she can earn.

With a licensed M.A. degree,

All we can say is “Wow!”

We’re insanely proud of Leslie

Which is why we must have a cow~

Graduating on Friday

Little does Leslie know…

We’ll be waiting for her Saturday

Just to tell her “way to go!”

So please join us to shout out

“SURPRISE!” right at four thirty.

How the Mormon Girl became a Hooker


What is it? : Share the Night, Prom for Adults Theme: Forever Young~ (teens and children under 21 must be accompanied by their adult legal guardian)
Why would I? : Did you miss your Prom or would you like to go again? This time the punch will be REALLY spiked~ be excited, be VERY excited
Who is it for? : Benefiting the Whimsical Ways Birthday Foundation for Mary Helen Howard Hooker~ proceeds are going to the cost of the event
Where at? : El Parador Restaurant, 2744 East Broadway Boulevard ~ As you arrive, Let them know you are there for PROM!
When is it? : Saturday, June 5th at 6pm- please be prompt, dressed accordingly, doors close at 7pm.
What else? : Cash bar available, along with a DJ and a professional photographer to take Prom Pictures at $10 each
How much? : $25 pre-ordered tickets per couple (includes entry fee, Prom favor, non-alcoholic drinks, dinner buffet and cake)
What if? : If you pre-order your ticket, it will cost $35 at the door per couple. $10 for kids ages 13-20, kids under 13 are free.
